The sale keeps going.  John Lackey the next Red Sox to get traded.

Well, there it is.  John Lackey is now a St. Louis Cardinal.  And the Red Sox pitcher Joe Kelley and outfielder Allen Craig back in return.

Joe Kelley should be fine.  Nothing mind blowingly awesome there.  But Allen Craig certainly excites me.  He’s a career .291 hitter (though having a rougher season this year).  Just add him to our now crowded outfield, filled with people who can actually hit now.  It’s a modern miracle.

But it does beg the question: Is Victorino next in this sale?  It’s a crowded outfield and he’s the oldest one in it…  Just speculating.
